About Amirim
Established in 1950 by a group of young, health conscious settlers, Amirim is unique being the only vegetarian village in The first settlers definitely made a perfect choice in choosing this spot. Conveniently situated in the heart of the Upper Galilee Mountains, close to all major attractions and important sites on the Galilean map of tourism, yet secluded and serene to ensure a peaceful, healthy lifestyle. Abundant fresh air, magnificent views and native Israeli flowers, vegetation and forest, all helped to establish Amirim as a leading destination for holidays from all parts of the world. Hence it was declared in 1995 by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism as one of Accommodations in Amirim, range from small wooden cabins and Spanish style chalets, are designed to accommodate couples, family units, and even small country-style guest houses. Nearly all units are equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette, TV, DVD, showers and/or bath, a Jacuzzi (hot tub), and many other amenities. Being a holiday village, we offer our guests a wide range of activities. You can start with outdoor activities such as walks in one of the many nature reserves trails around Amirim, driving yourself or you may prefer a motorized "4X4 Jeep-Trip", or self-drive ATV. While staying with us you may like to try a delicious vegetarian meal in one of the unique restaurants or cafes in the village. Enjoy an hour or more of total relaxation in one of the local spas, under the caring hands of one of the health therapists, or choose one of many massage therapies that have made Amirim their home.
